What this could do for most consumers is cause them to hit the “Spam” button and permantly delete all emails that come in this poor html format and eventually will cause all emails sent from that domain to a gmail account to goto the spam folder thus alienating a portion of business for them and their customers.
In an effort to build our Internet Department, I reached out to an Internet Lead Management Vendor (ILM), iMagicLab, and was shocked at the amazing apathy displayed in that organization. I basically asked if they would be willing to work out some type of trade out for their ILM product’s set up fee and the response was that they were not interested.
I understand follow up is the key to making sales especially on an intangible product, but this particular vendor would have been better off to place me in a future follow up file instead of trying to save the blown opportunity.
